How to get to Happy Campers from the Airport

Happy Campers Airport Transfer: Happy Campers provides free transfers to and from the airport. The shuttle is a scheduled service that arrives on the hour between 10am and 4pm. Please refer to Airport Shuttle Transfers for more details.

Walk: We are located circa 1 kilometre (1000 meters) from the Airport terminal. The walk via Orchard Road will take approximately 10-15 minutes. 

Taxi: A taxi from both International or Domestic terminals will cost approx $15. This will take 5 minutes.

How to get to Happy Campers from the City

Shuttle: A shuttle is available via Super Shuttle for $48 NZD per person. This will take 25-30 minutes.

Taxi: A taxi costs around $35 from the city centre. Taxi services that run in Christchurch include, Blue Star (phone 03 379 9799) and Gold Band (phone 03 379 5795)

Uber: A taxi costs around $28-35 from the city centre.

Bus: Catch the Metro Bus to Orchard Road, Christchurch Airport or the City Bus (Bus Number 8). Both routes have a 5 minute walk to Happy Campers. The bus will take between 14-20 mins from the city.

Petrol Station: Allied (self service), 75 Orchard Road, 3 minutes drive.

Campground: North/South Holiday Park, 530 Sawyers arms road, 6 minute drive or 39 Meadow Street (Papanui), 15 minutes drive.

Backpackers: Lylo, 5 Peter Leeming Road, 1 minute drive 

Bank: Bank of New Zealand, 5 Sir William Pickering Drive, 6 minute drive
